Wollongong Central is operated and managed by General Property Trust (GPT). Covering 56 600 sqm in the heart of downtown Wollongong it is the pre- mier shopping center in the Illawarra region.

As the centre grew it became more difficult to sustain and improve on tenant and shopper comfort – so critical for the retail shopping experience. In addition GPT, had set sustainability and energy efficiency targets which were required to be met. The centre management team needed an independent set of eye and ears for their mechanical and controls systems to help it achieve these targets for what is a complex built environment.

The ACE Platform installed was installed in 3 weeks with no disruptions and the data and insights it provided have significantly improved equipment and BMS efficiency and operations.
